Belly Rubs

Belly Rubs is a fictional Nordic-style pet retreat located at Richmond Hill, Ontario. It offers a number of services and amenities that are available to both pet and furparent for some much-needed quality time.

The task was to build brand awareness for this first-of-its-kind pet spa. Ideally, the client wants Belly Rubs to be fully booked for its grand opening.

Pets are celebrities.

My partner and I were big fans of furry pets — may it be cats or dogs. We get immediately smitten with them at first glance. We noticed that some people even turn their heads, stare, and smile at them because of their sheer cuteness. And isn’t that how we treat our favorite celebrities?

That observation is what led us to our big idea: #PAWradiseForTheStars.

Print Materials

We made sure to include silly and punny pet names to make our campaign materials feel more personal to our “celebrities.”

  • Brochure Front

The client had a clear preference for traditional advertising materials. Hence, my partner and I decided that a brochure is a must in order to introduce potential customers to Belly Rubs.

  • One of the most beautiful aspects of life is getting to share it with a pet. That makes them a celebrity in their own right. Hence, at Belly Rubs, we'll give you and your furry family the all-star, luxury treatment you both deserve.

    Brochure Back

We want to feature as many amenities as possible while also including the different spa packages the customers can avail.

Advertorial

Reviews from acclaimed travel magazines are essential in the hospitality sector. We want to tap writers from Condé Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisure, and AFAR to create sample content like the one pictured on the right. Additionally, we want Architectural Digest to highlight Belly Rubs’ Nordic-style design.

Website

We want the booking experience to feel as opulent as possible. Minimal colors, tons of white space, and simple copies did the trick.

Invitation

Along with booking confirmations, exclusive invites to the High Tea event will be sent to Day 1 guests. Pet and pet owners can enjoy a relaxing afternoon munching on macarons, scones, mini pupcakes, and pet-safe tea.
