I was scared to take on this project for many reasons. The scariest one being that AI could replace me and that the clients will realize that. But as I sifted through the prompt results, I started to recognize that AI can only serve as a jumping-off point by providing initial ideas.
AI results read stiffly and awkwardly. In the end, it was still up to me to write the content according to eBay’s style and tone of voice.
It still needed a human touch that only a real writer can provide.

eBay is all about keeping up with cultural moments and the clients wanted to leverage the “Games” as much as they can. By tapping into the spirit and emotion of the event, we were able to present relevant products and facts in a more conversational manner.
